Melbourne Training Sessions to come in April

We are pleased to announce we will be running our next copyright training session at the State library of Victoria on 18 April.

As per usual this training aims to arm librarians and archivists with the knowledge and skills to tackle copyright in their institutions. Whether you’re a copyright beginner or looking for the latest updates, from document delivery to open access we cover it all and take questions from the floor.

Part I: Copyright Essentials for Libraries & Archives (2007)

Powerpoint notes based on Part I of the Copyright Sessions the ALCC ran across Australia in 2007. Aims to provide a basics knowledge of how copyright works, exceptions to rights of copyright owners, and information about infringement of copyright.

Part II: New Copyright for Libraries & Archives (2007)

Powerpoint notes based on Part II of the Copyright Sessions the ALCC ran across Australia in 2007. Provides a rundown of the major changes to copyright law that came into effect in December 2007.
